Student Council
The Student Council at SBS plays an important and active role in the development of the school. Formed through an election process, the volunteers on the council work together, and within the school framework to provide opportunities for student expression, while also providing assistance in school affairs and activities.
The Student Council plans, develops, and initiates projects and activities that help the school to grow. They contribute to the educational development of students by providing opportunities for academic development, while also implementing initiatives that promote a healthy school culture. They encourage student involvement in school events leading to a strong sense of identity and what it means to be a part of SBS. They are an important communication pathway between the leadership of the school and the student body they represent. They foster a strong connection with the wider community through service minded volunteering.
At SBS we believe in agentic learning, and providing opportunities for students to develop leadership skills.
