Cambridge Exam

Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University is a Cambridge Exam Centre, open to both SBS students and private (external candidates). SBS offers a variety of subject-based examinations for both Cambridge IGCSE as well as Cambridge AS/A Levels

Our SBS Exam center is open for both examination series in May-June and October-November.

At SBS we believe in going the extra mile to assist both internal and external candidates by offering additional support including Cambridge IGCSE exam-prep tutorials, where our qualified and experienced teachers prepare students for exams.

CAMBRIDGE IGCSE AND GCE A/AS LEVELS

Cambridge IGCSE is widely recognised by higher education institutions and employers around the world as evidence of academic achievement. Many universities require a combination of Cambridge IGCSE’s and A/AS levels as one way to meet their entry requirements.

WHO CAN TAKE THE EXAMS?

Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University will accept any candidate who wishes to take any of the Cambridge exams having studied the syllabus. You do not need to be an SBS student. External candidates are welcome to take the exams at our Exams Centre. All examinations are conducted in English.

SAT @ SBS

The SAT is a standardized test widely used for university admissions. Many universities around the world, including universities in Thailand, require scores from the SAT test as a part of the admission process. SAT is used to measure a high school student’s readiness and provide universities with one common score that can be used to compare all applicants.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

All test takers must provide the following before entering the exam room:

• Admissions Ticket
• Original National ID or Passport
• Negative ATK Test Result

Test takers will be required to

• Wear masks whilst on campus, no exceptions
• Maintain social distancing at all times whilst on campus

Both external and internal students can register and choose to write the SAT exams at SBS. Registration for SAT exams is done online via the College Board website: www.collegeboard.org

The registration deadline is four weeks before the exam.

IELTS

IELTS, the international English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of people who want to study or work where English is the language of communication. It is recognised and accepted by over 9,000 organisations worldwide, including universities, employers, professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies (British Council Thailand / IELTS website)
