The Secondary Programme is for student ages 12+. SBS recognizes that this is a time of physical and psychological changes for students. Although rapid physical growth is a general phenomenon, students mature at varying rates. Therefore, the programme offers a full range of subjects to address a range of intellectual, social, physical, and emotional needs. The academic programme follows a prescribed curriculum based on the Thai National Curriculum to ensure a wide variety of information and experience for each student. SBS core courses are English, Thai, mathematics, science, information communication technology (ICT) and social studies. The extended curriculum includes art, music, careers. and physical education. At the beginning of M3 students receive counseling and assistance with their academic planning. The curriculum incorporates the Cambridge IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme to form the basis for Upper Secondary students, The Thai National Curriculum content and standards are met at all levels. These courses make more academic demands on students and are important for advanced placement in colleges and universities in Thailand and overseas.
